Pet Food Distribution
Humane Society of Southern Arizona 635 W. Roger Rd., Tucson, Arizona, United StatesSometimes, affording pet food or supplies like kitty litter can be tough. We're here to help. At the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, we understand that sometimes the choice can come down to feeding yourself or feeding your pet. We want you to be able to care for your pet in hard times. That’s why we offer our monthly pet food distribution. From 7 am - 9 am (May-October and 8 am - 10 am (November-April) on the first Sunday of each month, HSSA will have bags of cat and dog food available to those who need assistance. This distribution is intended for people who, because of economic hardship, may be having difficulty purchasing food for their pets. The distribution is at our main location, 635 West Roger Road. All proceeds from the event will benefit HSSA and the homeless pets we care for. Shopping that makes you and homeless pets happy? Who can beat that!? What you need to know: Pre-registration is required, Pre-register and select your shopping timeslot for FREE, Each shopping time-slot allows for 45 minutes of uninterrupted, socially distant, shopping time. Masks are highly encouraged and HSSA Thrift Store will not be open for shopping or bathroom use during this time.
