Education

Knowledge builds a better future

From summer camps and school programs for kids to pet first aid education for adults, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona’s Education Department aims to help all southern Arizonans learn about proper pet care, why humane animal treatment can improve the lives of people and pets, and the importance of spaying and neutering.

We also love talking about what we do as an organization. If you are part of a community group that wants to know more, be sure to check out all the programs available through our Speakers Bureau.

Education about the prevention of animal cruelty is also key to helping our community. We have an animal cruelty investigator on staff who works with local law enforcement to prosecute those who harm pets. Our court-mandated classes put those who have harmed back on the right path to responsible animal care.

Where are the HSSA Classrooms?

If you are visiting HSSA's Education Department, you will want to go to the coral Education building.
