Special Dogs of Tucson

Special Dogs of Tucson is a unique adoption program born from the desire to give the senior and long-stay dogs here at the shelter a better chance at finding a loving, forever, home.

Each week, our incredible volunteers bring select dogs over to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona Thrift Store to explore, meet potential adopters, and get some much deserved relaxation time away from the stress of the shelter.

Visit with these special dogs 4 days a week at HSSA Thrift Store at 1010 S. Wilmot Rd. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
