We invite you to join us again IN PERSON this time on the beloved Hotel Congress patio for Tail-a-thon LIVE! An evening of live bands performing songs about pets, Pet VIP Therapy Dogs, great food & drinks—all in support of Humane Society Southern AZ!
Hotel Congress and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona have teamed up to present Tail-a-thon LIVE, a benefit for HSSA featuring live music from Katherine Byrnes, Armando Moreno, Mitzi Cowell, Miss Olivia & the Interlopers, DJ sets from DJ Buttafly — all performing songs about pets! HSSA is bringing some VIP dogs AND a mini horse — a real dog & pony show!
Come out for an evening of live music, great food from the Plaza Eats food truck, and all the pet love you can get — all for a great cause! $15 donation at the door

Humane Amigos Summer Camp 2021- Rescue Crew (6-8 years) Week # 1

These camps give children a new perspective on caring for animals, preventing animal cruelty, understanding animal behavior and more. We use a variety of activities that stress an appreciation for our environment and preservation of our natural world, including classroom activities; creative and artistic exercises; hands-on animal care; great games, and character-building lessons.
Campers spend a minimum of 2 hours daily caring for different camp foster animals, which may include ball pythons, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. Dog Days provides children with in-depth, hands-on education about animal care and the human-animal bond.

Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest
VirtualIs your pet picture perfect? We think so! Compete to find out. Enter the Humane Society of Southern Arizona's Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest! This pet photo contest will determine which 13 pets will win a professional photoshoot and a spot in HSSA's 2022 Calendar! The pet with the most votes will grace our cover and the remaining top 12 will each get a month to their name. Submit your photo online starting June 7th - June 30th for a $25 entry fee. After that each vote will cost $1 and it will be your job to collect votes for your beloved pets! More good news? 48 other competing pets will be RANDOMLY drawn to be featured on days within the calendar. Submissions close at 7PM on June 30th so don't wait!
