La Encantada - Tucson Rescue Now 2905 E Skyline Dr, Tucson, AZJoin us on February 15th, 2020 for the annual hunt for the happy dog that will claim the cover of the May 2020 issue of
Tucson Lifestyle magazine!
Each ticketed dog will receive a mock cover photo (mailed to their humans about 5-6 weeks after the event) and be judged by a panel of media celebrities at the Tucson Lifestyle tent. All dogs and humans are encouraged to visit the numerous pet-related vendors on site throughout the day.
Proceeds from the event support the pets and programs of
the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

SPEEK! Adult Lecture Series: How to Be Law Enforcement’s Partner While Caring for Victim Animals

Animal Cruelty Investigator, Mike Duffey, will present information to those that help with the care of animals for law enforcement that are victims of animal cruelty. He will emphasize the importance of staying in communication with authorities and animal welfare contacts, keeping the privacy of the animals safe on social media, and other topics.
The 2-hour educational class is held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
All participants must register prior to the event. The $10 class fee is non-refundable upon registration for the class.

Yappy Yoga
Mesquite Elementary School 9455 W Rita Rd, Tucson, AZ, United StatesYappy Yoga is open to yogis of all levels. Class will be lead by a certified yoga instructor and participants will need to bring their own yoga mat. Kids participating must be at least 10 years old. Proceeds from this yoga class benefit homeless pets in need at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

Each Rattlesnake Avoidance training class gives dogs the necessary training to help prevent an expensive and potentially deadly snakebite.

Arizona Gives Day
There is a very real and significant purpose behind Arizona Gives Day. You will hear from many important organizations asking for your support. To keep our shoppers as safe as possible we will only be admitting 50 shoppers at a time in HSSA’s parking lots for one hour of shopping each with contactless check out once you’re done! Each shopper will browse clothing on tables 6 feet apart with new clothes being added each hour. ALL shoppers will be required to wear gloves and masks while on campus. Gloves and masks will be provided if needed by HSSA.
