Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest
VirtualIs your pet picture perfect? We think so! Compete to find out. Enter the Humane Society of Southern Arizona's Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest! This pet photo contest will determine which 13 pets will win a professional photoshoot and a spot in HSSA's 2022 Calendar! The pet with the most votes will grace our cover and the remaining top 12 will each get a month to their name. Submit your photo online starting June 7th - June 30th for a $25 entry fee. After that each vote will cost $1 and it will be your job to collect votes for your beloved pets! More good news? 48 other competing pets will be RANDOMLY drawn to be featured on days within the calendar. Submissions close at 7PM on June 30th so don't wait! It’s here! It’s here! It’s here! 🎉 HSSA’s 50/50 Raffle is officially back for the entire month of May, and we are gearing up for a jackpot bigger than ever before!
The 50/50 Raffle is just as amazing as it sounds. The winner will take home HALF of the jackpot and the pets here at HSSA receive the other half - gaining funds they need to have the resources necessary in finding their forever homes! What better way to kick off summer than with a HUGE prize that also gives back to shelter pets? A winner will be selected on September 30th. Cover Dog 2023
Do you have an incredible dog with a great story and a particularly adorable face? Enter to be our next Cover Dog!📷
Starting February 1st you can submit a photo of your adorable dog then have your friends and family vote for them. The entry fee is $25 and you will receive your first 25 votes! Each additional vote is only $1 - so encourage people to vote often. Check out our social media pages for tips on taking a good photo.
The ten dogs with the most votes cast between February 1st at 12:01am and February 14th at 11:59pm, will move on to the next round to be judged by the Tucson Lifestyle Magazine judges. One lucky winner will be chosen as the cover of the May edition and will have a professional photo shoot with Tucson Lifestyle Magazine!
The first 200 entries will receive a digital mock cover with the original photo they submit (delivered via email by April 1st, 2023) .
All proceeds from this event support the pets and programs of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
50/50 Raffle February – Share the love and cash with shelter pets!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show your love for animals than by participating in HSSA's February 50/50 Raffle? Not only will you have the chance to win big, but you'll also be helping homeless pets in need at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. For every ticket purchased, half of the proceeds will go towards providing food, shelter, and medical care for the animals at HSSA, while the other half will be split with one lucky raffle winner drawn on 2/28. To purchase a ticket, simply visit www.HSSAZ5050.org and select the number of tickets you would like to purchase. The more tickets you buy, the greater your chances of winning the jackpot!
