Puttin’ on the Dog Tail-a-thon Program
AZ, United StatesPuttin' on the Dog 2020 will take place on October 10th and October 11th - VIRTUALLY!
The amazing event you know and love has been transformed this year to a Tail-a-thon weekend! This program will have all the elements you've come to expect from us - music to dance to, fantastic auction items, and heartwarming stories. But this time we will bring it to you via your television, computer, tablet or phone.
So dress up or stay in your pj's, grab your dog, cat or lizard and help us raise money for HSSA!

Participants will receive firsthand experience in making healthy treats for their favorite cats, dogs, and pocket pets. Cover Dog 2021 Virtual Event

We are taking Cover Dog Virtual for 2021!
Starting February 1st you can submit a photo of your adorable dog then have your friends and family vote for them. Entries cost $25 and get you 25 votes! Each additional vote is only $1 so encourage people to vote often.
The ten dogs with the most votes at 10pm on February 15th will go on to be judged by our Tucson Lifestyle Magazine judges and one lucky winner will be on the cover of the May edition!
Each entry will also receive a digital mock cover. Check out our social media pages for tips on taking a good photo.
All proceeds from this event support the pets and programs of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest
VirtualIs your pet picture perfect? We think so! Compete to find out. Enter the Humane Society of Southern Arizona's Perfect Pets 2022 Calendar Contest! This pet photo contest will determine which 13 pets will win a professional photoshoot and a spot in HSSA's 2022 Calendar! The pet with the most votes will grace our cover and the remaining top 12 will each get a month to their name. Submit your photo online starting June 7th - June 30th for a $25 entry fee. After that each vote will cost $1 and it will be your job to collect votes for your beloved pets! More good news? 48 other competing pets will be RANDOMLY drawn to be featured on days within the calendar. Submissions close at 7PM on June 30th so don't wait!
