Designated Funds

Choose what your dollars go to

What are Designated Funds?

When making a gift to HSSA, you can elect to make your contribution to our general operations, knowing that we will always put your support to the best use possible in achieving our mission and goals.

But at other times, you may wish to designate your gift to a specific fund, and our online donation process makes it easy to do.

What funds can I choose to support?

Our Designated Funds include:

Second Chance Medical Fund - supporting medical procedures for pets requiring extraordinary care before they can be adopted.

Spay and Neuter Fund - allows us to provide free and affordable spay and neuter procedures to help reduce pet overpopulation.

Education Donation - supporting the excellent work of our humane educators in hundreds of classroom presentations across our community, provided to Title I schools at no charge.

Trap Neuter Return Feral Feline Fund - supports the work of controlling overpopulation and disease for community cats.

Foster Care Program Fund - allows us to assist the great foster volunteers who tend to our newborn puppies and kittens in the comfort of a home environment.

Animal Cruelty Taskforce (ACT) - supporting the multi-agency taskforce which provides investigative support and training for the law enforcement community throughout the state.

Can I speak to someone about designating funds before I make my gift?

Our Development Team would be happy to talk to you about any questions you have. Please don't hesitate to contact us at 520-327-6088.

You can help! Please make a voluntary gift to the Spay/Neuter Fund when you complete your Arizona income tax return by filling in an amount in box 42.
