We can always use a few extra hands
The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) welcomes corporate, community and high school groups to schedule one-time volunteer community service events. Community service groups help the HSSA continue to care for thousands of homeless pets a year as well as provide comfort and enrichment to the animals in our care.
Service group donations help offset the cost of supplies and staffing and continue to help the HSSA provide the needed care to the thousands of animals that temporarily live at the Humane Society while waiting for their forever home.
Service group requests should be made with ample time to set up their group service opportunity. We recommend groups schedule their service at least two months in advance of their requested date and provide some flexibility in scheduling.
Our service group opportunities are organized based on age level.

Donations may be monetary or an equal amount of items from our wish list.
Monetary payments must be made at least 10 business days in advance of the scheduled service group date. Once payment is received, the group will be confirmed for their service date and will be emailed the wish list and liability waiver.
