Life Skills
Build good habits for a lifetime
Life Skills classes help dogs learn basic manners and everyday behaviors, setting them up to be well-behaved members of your family. You'll also gain practical training techniques to reinforce positive habits at home.
- 5 weekly hour classes
- Dogs ages 6 months and up
- Proof of vaccines DAPP/DHPP & Rabies required
- $150 for 5 weeks
Private Obedience Sessions
Personalized training for your dog’s unique needs
Our one-on-one sessions are designed for addressing specific behaviors such as reactivity, fearfulness, resource guarding, or confidence-building. Certified trainers work closely with your and your dog to develop effective, compassionate strategies for success.
- 1 hour sessions
- Dogs ages 10 weeks and up
- Proof of vaccines DAPP/DHPP & Rabies required
- $80 per session or $200 for 4 sessions
Pet VIP Therapy & Visitation Program
Share your pet’s love with the community
The Pet VIP Therapy and Visitation Program connects certified pet-handler teams with people in hospitals, care centers, schools, and more – bringing comfort, smiles, and emotional support to those who need it most.
If your pet is calm, social, and well-mannered, this could be a wonderful way to give back together. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, goats, and other friendly animals are welcome to participate.

Cancellation, Refunds & Transfers
Cancellation Policy: HSSA reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient registration, weather conditions, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. Should HSSA have to cancel your training, we will issue you a full refund for any registration fees within ten working days of the program.
Refund Policy: HSSA will be happy to provide a full refund for your training should you cancel your reservation within 48 business hours prior to your class date. HSSA will then issue you a refund for the registration fee, minus service fees within ten working days of the event date. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the event or training date or for no-shows. No refunds are issued should a participant be removed from the program for violation of HSSA rules and regulations.
Transfer Policy: HSSA is happy to transfer any registration to an upcoming class date within 48 business hours prior to your class date. Transfers can only be applied to classes/trainings with available tickets.
