Become a Humane Hero with the Hand in Paw Kids Club!
In the Hand in Paw Humane Heroes Academy, we teach children all about animals. We show them how to help animals in their community by giving them valuable information to share with friends and family!
Our Humane Heroes Academy empowers youth in our community to be the best animal advocates they can be. At the core of this program is the human-animal bond. This bond is strengthened when children are taught to respect and appreciate animals. Whether your child is a lifelong animal lover or new to animal interactions, this is the activity for them!
The Program:
We achieve our goal in multiple ways. First, HSSA strives to educate our Heroes about the responsibilities of pet ownership as well as the important role these animals play in our lives and community. Second, we want to teach our Heroes the importance of being an advocate and educators within their community of peers, family, and friends.
