Special Dogs of Tucson

The Special Dogs of Tucson (SDOT) program was created to give shelter residents a greater chance at finding new homes.

Each week, incredible HSSA volunteers take select dogs out of the shelter to visit the HSSA Thrift Store where they can relax, explore, and meet potential new families in a quieter setting.

This program give people on the east side of Tucson a wonderful opportunity to connect with adoptable dogs without visiting the main shelter.

Come meet our SDOT dogs:

📍 1010 S. Wilmot Rd.
🗓️ Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
🕚 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
