Help us build a new future for the pets of Southern Arizona!
We have served the community for over 70 years, and our current facility shows it's age. It is time for our animals and our HSSA family to have a new home. This new home will allow us to improve the lives, health and well-being of the animals we care for.
Our HSSA Board of Directors, our Capital Campaign Cabinet and our staff have all, each and every one of them, made a donation or a pledge, to make our new home a reality. We’d like you to be a part of making our new home a reality too.
Our new home is possible with your support. Please make your pledge today so our animals have a brighter, better, healthier tomorrow.
For additional information about our new Animal Welfare Center and ways to give, please contact Diana Cannon, firstname.lastname@example.org or 321-3704 ext. 117.
We appreciate all that you do for HSSA, and for our community.
TUCSON, AZ – (December 15, 2016) – The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) broke ground at the site of their new location, 635 W Roger Rd, Tucson Arizona at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14th.
“This is such a great day for us”, says Diana Cannon, Chief Development Officer. “We couldn't be more pleased with the turnout. This community is incredibly supportive of our efforts, and it is a true pleasure to have so many of our friends and supporters here to share in this momentous occasion.”
The new campus design includes innovative and green building practices, including jumbo dog runs, several large off-leash play yards, a designated dog walking path, indoor/screened outdoor cat habitats, solar covered parking, the use of existing native plant life in landscaping, and rainwater harvesting.
Cannon says the although the organization is moving forward with the construction of the new facility, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona will need to raise about $3,000,000 more to see the project through. Anyone wishing to join the effort should contact Diana Cannon via email at email@example.com, or via phone at (520) 321-3704 ext. 117.
