Become a Humane Hero with the Hand in Paw Kids Club!
In the Hand in Paw Humane Heroes program, we will teach you all about animals. We’ll show you how to help animals in your community by giving you valuable information to share with friends and family!
Humane Heroes will to empower youth in our community to be the best animal advocate they can be. At the core of this program is the human-animal bond. This bond is strengthened when children are taught to respect and appreciate animals. Whether your child is a lifelong animal lover or new to animal interactions, this is the activity for them!
We achieve our goal in multiple ways. First, HSSA strives to educate our Heroes about the responsibilities of pet ownership as well as the important role these animals play in our lives and community. Second, we want to teach our Heroes the importance of being an advocate and educator within their community of peers, family, and friends.
