Planned Giving

Leave a Legacy of Love for Pets in Our Community

Your generosity can leave a lasting impact on the Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA). By incorporating charitable contributions into your estate plan, you ensure future generations of animals receive the care and protection they need.

Anyone, regardless of age or financial situation, can leave a lasting legacy of compassion and care for animals. It doesn't matter where you are in life — your income, age, or assets — everyone has the power to make a meaningful impact through planned giving. Any size planned gift can make a profound difference in the future.

Gifts earmarked for our general fund permit us to use the funds where they are most needed. If you wish to restrict your bequest to a particular project, we’ll be happy to talk with you further about how your wishes can best be accomplished. For more information, call (520) 327-6088, x117 or email us at: development@hssaz.org

Three Steps to Leave Your Legacy

  1. Learn about Planned Giving Options: On this page we will share with you some of the many ways you can  support HSSA through planned giving.
  2. Talk to a Legal or Financial Professional: We recommend consulting with a legal or financial advisor to discuss estate planning goals and your desire to help save the lives of animals in our community through a planned gift to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. While HSSA cannot provide legal or financial advice,  we can help you ensure your legacy gift has the impact you intend.
  3. Inform HSSA of Your Planned Gift: Once your plans are in place, please inform HSSA of your intention to include us in your estate plans. This ensures that your wishes are understood and allows us to express our gratitude for your generous support. You can let us know your intentions by filling out this bequest intention form.
