The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is hosting a very special edition of our Paws and Pages Literacy Program. Each year, 4th of July celebrations cause many of our community’s pets to experience anxiety and fear. This will be the first ever Paws and Pages event for adults to read to shelter pets! Active duty and veteran members of all branches of our armed forces - and any adult who cares about reducing shelter pets’ stress levels during the holiday, can join us on July 4th from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. to read to shelter cats and dogs.
